Dear “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” Users,
We are sorry to inform you that for the Galaxy Store version of “THE ALCHEMIST CODE”, this version will be removed from the Galaxy Store on [15 Oct 2020, 23:59 (PST)] (the “Store Removal Date”) and discontinued on [18 Nov 2020, 23:59 (PST)] (the “Discontinued Date”). Users have the option (recommended), however, to bind their account to Facebook logins or make a user-code transfer to other major Android application digital store fronts, and migrate from the Galaxy Store version of the Services to a version of the Services downloadable from other major Android application digital store fronts in order to continue using the Services with their previously created account record.
From [17 Sept 2020, 01:00 (PDT)] and until the Discontinued Date [18 Nov 2020, 23:59 (PST)], existing users can continue to use the Galaxy Store version of the Services, but we will no longer provide updates or technical support for this version. Any remaining In-game Currency (defined below) in the user’s account can be retrieved after migration to other major Android application digital store fronts. The purchasing of “Gems” (“In-game Currency”) will be halted in the Galaxy Store version of the Services from [17 Sept 2020, 01:00 (PDT)].
Please do not uninstall “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” until you have successfully binded your account or make a user-code transfer to other major Android application digital store fronts. If you uninstall the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE”, you may lose access to the display within the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” showing your Player Name, User Code.
Existing users of the Galaxy Store version of the Services who do not wish to migrate from the Galaxy Store version of the Services to a version of the Services from other major Android application digital store fronts may be eligible for a refund of purchases of unused In-game Currency due to the discontinuation. Please see below for further information.

Users of the Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” application with unused Paid in-game currency before 17 Sept 2020, 01:00 (PDT) may be eligible for a refund of purchases of unused In-game Currency due to the fact that this version will be discontinued and removed from the Galaxy Store.
User accounts will be suspended at the date and time when the Refund Request Form is submitted and validated. User accounts eligible for a refund will be permanently deactivated once the refund process is completed. User accounts that are not eligible for a refund will be re-activated and access will be restored to the user.
To request a refund, visit the Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” to access the “Refund” link via Menu > Discontinuation of Galaxy Store during refund application period as pictured here.
Complete and submit the Refund Request Form. You will get a response within 30 days after your request is submitted and if you meet the refund requirements, you will get your refund issued to you through PayPal. gumi’s determination of whether a refund will be made is conclusive. Please see the Terms of Use of the Services (https://gumi.sg/terms/english.html) for further information.
- You will need to have an active, valid PayPal account to be eligible for a refund. If you do not have a PayPal account, go to PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/) and sign up with an active, valid email address. You will need to confirm your email address with PayPal to receive your refund. All refunds will be issued less applicable PayPal fees. Refunds will only be issued to such PayPal account in United States Dollars only, but you may convert into other currencies monies held in such PayPal account. Please see PayPal for more information.
- The period to apply for a refund commences on the [17 Sept 2020, 01:00 (PDT)] and ends on the [18 Nov 2020, 23:59 (PST)]. We will not accept any application for a refund after the refund application period expires.
- You are not entitled to a refund of Unused In-game Currency granted free of charge by gumi.
- You will need your Player Name (visible in the top left of the home page), User Code (visible in the Account accessible from the menu) and an active, valid email address to apply for a refund. Please note that the Player Name and User Code will not be viewable in-game after the closure of the Services on [18 Nov 2020, 23:59 (PST)]
- The Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” will only be available until [15 Oct 2020, 23:59 (PST)] in the Galaxy Store. Please ensure to retrieve your Player Info before the removal from the store on [15 Oct 2020, 23:59 (PST)].
- You can check your balance of paid In-Game Currency from the menu in the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” as pictured by going to Menu > Player Info.
- Please do not uninstall Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” until the refund process has been complete. If you uninstall the Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE”, you may lose access to the display within the Galaxy Store version of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” showing your Player Code and Portable Account Login ID.
- Refunds may not be supported where gumi detects fraud or abuse of the refund process.
- If you have multiple accounts, you have to request a refund by submitting the Refund Request Form for each account.
