The French, German and Spanish Language Versions Will Be Phased Out and Converted

IMPORTANT- For the French, German and Spanish Language Versions of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” application published by gumi Inc. (the “Services”), No New Features or Updates Will Be Rolled Out, Support Will Be Phased Out, and Maintenance Will No Longer Be Available in the French, German and Spanish languages in the Services from [04/23/2020, 01:00 (PDT)] (However, new features and updates will be rolled out, support will be continued, and maintenance will be available in English in Those Language Versions of the Services during the Phase Out Period.), and such Language Versions of the Services Will Be Automatically Converted into the English Version of the Services from [06/25/2020, 00:59 (PDT)].

Dear “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” Users, 

We are sorry to inform you that for the French, German and Spanish language versions of Services, no new features or updates will be rolled out, support will be phased out, and maintenance will no longer be available in the French, German and Spanish languages from [04/23/2020, 01:00 (PDT)] (the “Phase Out Date”) (Though new features and updates will be rolled out, support will be continued, and maintenance will be available in English in the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services during the phase out period. ), and such language versions of the Services will be automatically converted into the English version of the Services from [06/25/2020, 00:59 (PDT)] (“Conversion Date”). The English language version of the Services will be entirely unaffected by this. 

During the phase out period from [04/23/2020, 01:00 (PDT)] until [06/25/2020, 00:59 (PDT)], existing users can continue to play the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services, but such users will not be able to switch to or between the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services. Except as noted herein, in all other aspects, the French, Spanish and German language versions of the Services will be made available and any remaining In-game Currency (defined below) in the user’s account can be spent during the phase out period. Reinstallations and new installations of the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” application will be defaulted to the English language during the phase out period. 

On the Conversion Date, new registration and the purchasing of “Gems” (“In-game Currency”) will be terminated in the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services, but we strongly encourage you not to register as a new user and not to purchase In-game Currency in the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services after the Phase Out Date . 

The French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services will be automatically converted into the English version of the Services from [06/25/2020, 00:59 (PDT)].  The French, German and Spanish language versions of the Service will not be accessible after this date.

We sincerely hope such language versions of the Services have been an enjoyable experience for you.

Users of the French, German and Spanish language versions of the Services (“THE ALCHEMIST CODE”)who do not wish to convert their language version of the Services into the English version of the Services may be eligible for a refund of purchases of unused In-game Currency due to such phase out and conversion.

For such users, to request a refund, open your “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” and select the Refund link in the Language Menu during refund application period (see below).  Complete and submit the Refund Request Form. You will get a response within 30 days after your request is submitted and if you meet the refund requirements, you will get your refund issued to you through PayPal. gumi’s determination of whether a refund will be made is conclusive. Please see the Terms of Use of the Services (https://gumi.sg/terms/english.html) for further information.

- If you submit the Refund Request Form, your user account will be suspended at the date and time when the Refund Request Form is submitted and validated. User accounts eligible for a refund will be permanently deactivated once the refund process is completed. User accounts that are not eligible for a refund will be re-activated and access will be restored to the user. 

- The period to apply for a refund commences on the [04/23/2020, 01:00 (PDT)] and ends on the [06/25/2020, 00:59 (PDT)]. We will not accept any application for a refund after the refund application period expires. 

- The maximum amount of In-game Currency that will be refunded is based on the user balance of the paid In-game Currency on the day before the Conversion Date. The actual refund amount will depend upon our confirmation of your refund request and balance of paid In-game Currency.

- You are not entitled to a refund of unused In-game Currency granted free of charge by gumi.

- You will need to have an active, valid PayPal account to be eligible for a refund. If you do not have a PayPal account, go to PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/) and sign up with an active, valid email address. You will need to confirm your email address with PayPal to receive your refund. All refunds will be issued less applicable PayPal fees. Refunds will only be issued to such PayPal account in United States Dollars only, but you may convert into other currencies monies held in such PayPal account. - You will need your Player Name, User Code and an active, valid email address to apply for a refund.

- You can access the “Refund” link via Menu > Language accessible from the menu in the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” as pictured here.

- You will need User Code accessible from the menu in the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” as pictured here and an active, valid email address to apply for a refund.

- You can check your balance of paid In-game Currency accessible from the menu in the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” as pictured by going to Menu > Player Info.

- Please do not uninstall “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” until the refund process has been completed. If you uninstall the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE”, you may lose access to the display within the “THE ALCHEMIST CODE” showing your Player Name, User Code, and balance of paid In-game Currency. 

- Refunds may not be supported where we detects fraud or abuse of the refund process.
