What are Soul Shards and how to obtain them?

There are two types of Soul Shards.

Unit Soul Shards and Elemental Soul Shards

While both are used to Limit Break a unit, Elemental Soul Shards are not used to transmute a unit.

You can obtain Unit Soul Shards through the following:

Shops (Anna's, Maria's, Louise's) - Small quantity can be purchased from the Shop.
- This updates every 04:00, 09:00, 14:00, 19:00, and 24:00 PST.
- For a list of available Unit Soul Shards that can be bought, you can tap on the Magnifier icon on the lower right part of each respective shop.
Coin Exchange (Event Coins, Multiplay Coins, Arena Coins)
- Coins acquired from events, multi-play, and arena can also be exchanged for Unit Soul Shards.
Soul Exchange Shop
- Unit Soul Shards of older 4-5 Star units can be purchased here using Soul Coins.
- Soul Coins can be obtained by trading excess Soul Shards for units that have already reached maximum Limit Break.
Summoning
- A duplicate unit will automatically be converted to Unit Soul Shards. The amount varies on the unit's Rarity.
  - ★★★ - 15 Unit Soul Shards
  - ★★★★ - 20 Unit Soul Shards
  - ★★★★★ - 25 Unit Soul Shards
Story Quests (Hard Mode)
- Every stage has a corresponding Unit Soul Shard that can be obtained. This has a limit of 3 Unit Soul Shards per stage and resets every day.
Event Quests/Milestones
- Some Unit Soul Shards can only be obtained through Event Dungeons and completing certain milestones. Elemental Soul Shards (Fire, Wind, Water, Thunder, Dark, Light, Rainbow) can only be obtained through events and Daily Login Rewards.
